While the man is well within his rights to express his opinion and desires, the choice is the woman's choice, and hers alone.

If you're wondering whether, as a legal matter, the man can prevent his partner from having an abortion the answer is: no, he cannot.

I think it is wrong that a woman can have a baby even though the father does not want it and she can make him pay child support, but when a father does want a baby, the woman can terminate the pregnancy without any questions. The father should have rights also. The mother shouldn't be selfish and kill the baby, she should go through with the pregnancy and give the baby to the father. Maybe before the baby is born, they can go to a lawyer and sign documents that would state that the mother would have no financial responsibility if the father wants to have the baby and raise the baby on his own. That would keep the mother from having to worry about being tied to the child if she didnt want it. I think all these problems could be solved though if people would stop having careless sex. Both people in the relationship should agree with the pregnancy.

As soon as the baby is born you can go and sign over all of your parental rights to him and that will free you of all of your responsibilities for the child and it will all be on him. I think that is is great that he wonts the baby full time, you should be thankful there are many dead beat dads out there.
Just please dont have an abortion, there is no point in killing a baby when it has a parent that is wanting it that bad. It and it's father deserves a chance.

Ultimately it is up to you, but only because it does not take a father's signature for an abortion. However, if he is willing to take care of the baby then I suggest you have it and give up your parental rights so that he can raise the baby.

Yes, he definitely has a right and I think it's great that he wants the baby!! Let him take care of the baby if you at this point cannot--it's better than an abortion!! Please continue with the pregnancy and don't harm your beautiful child--you may regret it horribly in the future. If anything you could give the baby up--don't make rash decisions. It's great the dad wants the baby....let him have his child. Good luck and take care of yourself and your little one!!

I'm sure he does have a right because it is his child too... And I think you should give him the child even if you don't want to keep it... There is NO reason to have an abortion!!! If you don't want the child give it up for adoption... It is sick to kill an unborn child they haven't even had a chance at life and murder is murder no matter what age or even if its legal.... Children are blessings from God and there are people dying to hvae children and can't and peopl elike you want to kill them.

I believe he does, it takes two to make a baby and it's half his. I understand it's your body but if he wants his child, I say give him a chance, if not for him for the unborn child. Especially if he'll take care of it alone. Who knows you may have a change of heart once you see that beautiful baby, but don't kill your child give the baby a chance.
