What you dont know is this, you CAN refuse the shots, and still enroll your kids...you just have to sign something that says they are against your belief, and my son will go to an attorney if he has to, to prove this point...just look at what you said,..the school REFUSES you the right, to not give your kids these shots, in spite of all the research being done.

I had chicken pox, mumps, measles as a child...the body needs to makes its OWN defenses against this..please at least read the articles...How could anyone so blindly want to give your kids shots that destroy the immune system?..I had three shots in my life, polio, small pox, and one more, never got sick...strong immune system. We just don't need shots and certainly not this young, while the brain is still developing. If I can prevent ONE person, I have done my job

Mikki, this is where medical professionals are LYING to you...my son's own baby's doctor, an old fashioned doctor, could NOT guarentee that the shots would not give his daughter autism, and so therefore supported his choice NOT to give her the shots...please read the info I posted, and THEN tell me what you think..

Miki, I read the disclaimer also..but what have they to gain? Why would anyone want to give their kids all these chemicals, and even take a chance? It doesn't make sense...Doctors can NOT assure you, that the shots are NOT the blame for the autism, and other permanent ailments.

Finally....someone else who agrees with me.
I have always believed this and the other moms who are brainwashed say "but I HAVE TO..."
Gimmie a break ladies!
These shots contain MERCURY which is a POISON!
I know you don't want your precious little ones to die let alone get diagnosed with AUTISM.
Be smart and STOP GIVING THEM THESE SHOTS!
You don't say "I love you with Mercury filled shots"....do your own research as parents and stop claiming you don't have "enough time"...it's your children's lives and HEALTH at stake.
Thank you for sharing this information....I can only do so much myself. Thanks again!

Contrary to the belief of some Hep B isn't caused by drug use , That's Hep C, which unfortunately does not currently have a vaccine or a cure, Hep C is spread the same way Aids is. Are you seriously telling me if there was a vaccine to prevent aids you wouldn't get it. My ex-husband and father of my children got Hep C 3 years ago, every time they visit him I worry because they could contract the disease by touching a bleeding scratch on his arm. They get tested every year. Hep A, Hep B, and Hep C are all Liver disease. Liver failure is FATAL! Tell me again why I shouldn't CHOOSE to vaccinate my children. Last year 3 of my 4 children came down with Retrovirus, the all had temps of 104. and higher. My 3 month old was a little more than uncomfortable. She could not eat, or sleep (due to the constant vomiting and diarrhea) And her temp reached 106. She was at risk of having seizures and worse, DEATH. Needless to say, I keep my kids shots up to date. Sounds like to me a couple of mothers don't read the had outs either. Seriously, How Manny of us have Autism? Read history I have aunts and uncles who have died and been disfigured as children from these childhood diseases, who would have loved to have had the vaccines we have now. Do your homework. You children's LIVES depend on it.
PS Mommy to... You don't have to be all grown up to need gaurdisil, little girls get raped too. Can't expect a rapest to be polite and use a condom. Do you really want to risk that? CANCER you can prevent cervical CANCER!

I think it's good you did research, I have reservations on shots also. I have 3 girls. Some doctors won't disclose their uncertainty. One responder said "...unless they force us to....", well isn't there some legislation going on now about something they are currently giving young girls to avoid early some "venereal disease", it might cause sterility or other complication? Pretty soon we won't have a choice. The USA is not as blatant as say China who refuse people to have 2nd children, it's more covert here, the politicians don't have the guts to even tell you. All kids won't get autism from shots b/c kids bodies are diff, but i have heard those stories of mercury inherent in some of these vaccinations. Someone need also check out the video on "Aids & HIV being a hoax". a perpetuation on society.

WOW, them are some heart wrenching stories I read. I can understand where your coming from but hey if you dont get the vaccine there is also a risk, possibly a bigger risk. I think I will continue vaccinating my child but will ALWAYS be sure to know the facts about everything, including the person giving them. Thanks, you showed me a whole new perspective on this issue.

Doctor's when treating their patient weigh the risk benefit ratio. The research on whether or not vaccinations cause any issue learning or behavioral has not existed long enough to substantiate the hypothesis put forward. We do know that the vaccines do what we want them to do and yes there are always side effects to everything we as humans put into our bodies. But the diseases that they prevent are also very horrible and you unfortunately (or not so unfortunately) have no reference to differentiate between the two in order to decide which is worse.

It's a tough decision, and its one that every parent needs to make for themselves.
I am not completely against vaccines, but i do believe we give too many, too early.
Seriously, how many of us have had chicken pox? Was there a huge HIB epidemic that i missed?
Paralytic Polio is scary, yes. Tetanus is scary as well... but you have to look at the prevalence. Tetanus is extremely rare amung children. As long as you have good blood circulation, which most kids do, you should be fine. Polio only paralizes in like .5% of cases. While that is still a large number, its not as bad as they would lead us to believe.
I am still on the fence about several vaccines, but I refuse to expose such a new immune system to substances such as aluminum. Japan doesn't give any vaccinse until age 2, and they seem to be doing fine.
Oh, and to the girl who mentioned menegitis... the menegitis vaccine isn't on the regular schedule. Its not approved for young children. You should know the symptoms of menegitis, because your child could come down with it. I have a friend whose son lost half of his brain to menegitis. He was fully vaccinated and she mistakenly thought he was immune to it.
I just don't feel that they have put enough research into vaccines. They only tested Gardasil on 2000 girls under the age of 16 (the recomended age of vaccination is 9). That is rediculous. With as much money as they put into advertising, they could have done more research.
When they do a long-term study on the effects of vaccines on immune health, and auto-immune disorders (arthritis, diabetes, gulienne barre, etc...) I will be able to make a clear desision. But there is no such study that ive been able to find. They just don't care.
To Nicky, Nobody has a reference. Not even your doctor. They have never done enough research on vaccines and the long-term effects for anyone to make a completely informed decision. You have to go with your gut. And my gut tells me that god (or nature, or whoever!) made disease for a reason, and that our immune systems... if left to work the way they are supposed to, should do just fine in the face of illness. This does not mean that some vaccine-preventable illnesses don't scare me, thats where the whole issues gets hard.

I am very familiar with Dr Mercola...in fact he practices very close to me....I also go to a homeopathic Dr in Wheaton, IL....I have been helped with many of my own sicknesses and other ailments over the years through natural medicine and the like ...I have done my research on shots and the repercussions of vaccines scares me...my sister stopped immunizing her children about 5 years ago...they are all teens now and you can get your child into school without vaccines...those that say otherwise have not done THEIR research...there is a waver form and other forms for doing this...I actually have my sons immunized, but am constantly worried about autism and ADD or ADHD because of them...but what can I say I feel safer as their have been a few cases of polio over the years close to my area and I would rather be safe than sorry...there are some vaccines I will not get my children...one being a flu shot..I have never had one and have never had the flu terribly at all and Hepititis A...they are not required ...
I believe that vaccines do cause adverse effects...especially with the mercury being inside the vaccines...but the diseases truly do frighten me too...I guess I am torn between the risks and benefits....I am still unsure as to what I will do with my daughter due in August.....thanks for that other web site though...I appreciate it!

If the Lord would have blessed me with kiddos, then I would have fought against the immunization 'bandwagon'. I am tired of $$$ being behind every single agenda today! The chemical/drug companies make $$$, the doctors make $$$, the lobbies in Washington have $$$ to force their issue on us thru legislation. Its unbelieveable the $$$ and power behind those who will profit at the deaths and disablements of those who are compromised by these unnatural, man-manupulated chemicals
Few drug companies are willing to check into the natural alternatives (less profit incentive!) - and congress right now is debating whether or not to make it a Required Prescription via a Doctor to get your silly over-the-counter vitamins & supplements!
I agree 110% with the Questioneer, and concur with many of the answer panel. Texas' Governor Rick "Idiot" Perry is still fighting tooth-n-nail to get required 'immunizations' of a std-related cancer in females. And this chemical has not had full testing yet - what of future birth defects of those immunized? Or possible sterilization? I would hate to be facing these issues as a parent today. It so makes me think of the "scientists" of Adolph Hitler's time - when experiments were done way beyond the point of inhumanity!

I have to go by what the doctors tell me--and I had my shots and I'm ok--my baby needs them so she does not catch awful polio or meningitis or anything like that. I have to trust my doctors and not an article.
I read the article and it's not enough proof. That's like saying if your child gets sick to not give them medicine because of all the millions of possible "side effects". There is RISK to EVERYTHING in this world.

As someone who does immunize my children, thanks, but no thanks.
I'll continue to have my children vaccinated, I don't want to run the risk of an "innocent childhood illness" (like chicken pox) becoming complicated and possibly killing my child.
Yes, I can give my child the shots in good faith. :)
There are so many articles about immunizations causing autism... yet, there are just as many articles about them not causing it or any other problems.

no shots here! I have done a ton of research (both on-line and off) and found no compelling evidence to alter my child's immune system so drastically and unnaturally.
Of course, most parents want to just do what their told and can't be bothered to make a truly informed choice. Just ask your Vaxxing friends if they've read the package inserts that come with the vaccine doses, or kept a record of the batch numbers of all their child's shots as they are supposed to in case of a recall or public health warning. Very few i'd bet.
Some of the things they give shots for are just absurd. My baby doesn't do needle drugs or have unprotected sex, so no HepB for us thanks. Chicken pox is not deadly, neither is rotovirus. My children had these and were uncomfortable for a few days. I supported their natural immune system and now they have TRUE immunity instead of an artificial one that needs to be boosted with chemicals.
My dd was in public school for 3 years and never did we have an issue with vaccine records. I simply signed a form that we didn't believe in them. Every state has exemptions.
