No, they are crustaceans, similar to a shrimp or lobster, but smaller.

No, they are crustaceans, not even closley related to fish really. They re arthropods, like insects. Just like starfish aren't fish either. They are echinoderms. And a seahorse isn't a horse(obviously), it is a fish. There is your zoology lesson for the day. Hee hee.

No, they are crustaceans, just like a few other people said. They are related to shrimp and lobster and animals like that.

They are more like little crabs!
When me and my nephew went out to catch some with a big net..
he always called them craw-dads
or something like that
