'lactating' already? i thought this didnt happen till like month
8 or 9 or even after you give birth....
it hasnt been enough to soak through my bra yet thank god, but theres a good size spot pretty occasionally............
so last night i checked my self and i AM!!!! but what i want to know is has anybody else expierenced it so early?
im also just wondering since this is my first pregnancy and all and i dont know much or what to expect what can i do if it decides to be enough to soak through my bra... i would be mortified if i was at work and had a spot on my nipple.. cause on the white shirts of my hubbys i wear to bed it dries after a while but it leaves a mark.

I am at 27 and a half weeks and I am already leaking. Although not all the time. It can happen at any time. In fact, I have learned that even women who aren't pregnant can lactate (with help) since it is a hormonal thing that triggers it. Looks like your body is ready for this baby and that's a good thing.

They sell nursing pads in most baby sections that you slide into your bra to catch the fluids. I hear they work well although I haven't gotten any yet as I am not leaking very much. Sometimes I will wake up to find little crusties of dried fluid on my nipples, and if I massage my boobs I can get them to leak. The only other time it seems to leak spontaneously is when I hear a baby cry for more than a minute or two. (Lucky me, we just had a family with a 4 month old move in two doors down last week so that's been interesting).

My doctor said as long as the fluid is clear to light yellow that's fine because that is colostrum that the baby needs. It's full of antibodies and the proper nutrition for a newborn baby. If it starts coming out a whitish colour before the baby is born then you're actually making breast milk which the baby might have problems digesting for the first few days. It has a higher fat content and it takes a few days before babies can break down fats in their system.

Don't worry about it too much, it's normal. Annoying, but normal. Let your doctor know that this is happening at your next appointment, it's possible they may have your dates wrong as well. It wasn't until I went for a second ultra sound that the doc was able to be able to give me a good idea of when the baby is due, although she said I could still be a week or two before then since I have a family history of small babies from both my side and hubby's side.

Good luck!!

In my 8th month I would go to sleep and wake up with wet spots on my shirt...This happened on and off until I gave birth. Dr said it was ok. Ive heard of people using toilet paper over their nipples under the bra when they go out but I doubt you will need that until after you give birth.

stable question. in basic terms God is conscious? i've got heard many stuff nonetheless. it may the two be raised interior the Millennium via the father and mom, or it is going to come down in a distinctive physique the subsequent time the father and mom are watching for, or it became right into a proper being with out wanting the attempt of earthly life and stay with God till the father and mom reunite with the toddler.

Its colostrum and its normal (for some) to leak throughout pregnancy. I started leaking at 18 weeks. Some leak even earlier than that. Get some breast pads if you need them. Don't worry. Best of luck.

It can happen anytime during the last tri. THey have pads for them look by the baby stuff and you will see that they have breast pads. Mothers who breastfeed use them! It works real good I used them after my previous pregnancies.

Get a bra specialized for leakage, that way it will never show through.
