It depends on your personal preference. Most folks I've seen wearing the walking boot wear their pants on the outside of the boot. This method makes the boot less obvious to the casual observer. Good luck in your recovery. And don't overdo it when you do go back to work.

Scrunching up the boot inside might cause a blister or discomfort. I would wear them on the outside of the boot.

I unfortantly have lots of esperience with this issue. I do not recomend putting your pants inside of the walking boat because it can cause your skin to get irritated. The velcro on my walking boat also messed up several pairs of my pants. If your pants leg is wide enough to go across your boot I would do that if not leave it scrunched up above your boot. This may not be attractive but its an unfortunate part of injury. I spent 6 months in a walking boot just last year and I was previouly in one 3 times. Good luck and fast healing.

It's all personal preference, but with my experience, outside is much better for a couple of reasons:
1. It makes the boot less obvious to other people, and made me feel less awkward.
2. Unless the pants are really soft material,or have quite skinny/tapered legs,it would bunch up inside.
3. It is much less hot,and walking boots get hot enough just as they are without extra layers inside.

I think it's weird....kinda like when Kriss Kross tried to make wearing pants backward look cool. It's not! And the same with guys wearing their waistbands down to their ankles!! Sorry, but I don't like having to see somebody's @ss or boxers hanging out!

Don't wear them on the inside, wear them over the top of the boot, wearing gaiters if you are worried about getting them dirty, if you are doing some hiking etc. What we do as soldiers too is we put an elastic band above our boot and tuck the trousers back up and under itself and rest the trousers on the top of the boot.

I would keep them on the outside of your walking boot as it will be more comfortable for you as the pant won't rub on your ankle

outside.
scrunched up looks dumb. Inside can cause blood-flow problems
