OK "he did what he thought was right" That is a war on Iraq which was an attack designed to fight the Israel-Islam war and was brought about by Israeli supporters in the White House.
Estimated 700,000 killed
A million people demonstrated in an attempt to stop the lunacy and they all knew better than this man who told the country a pack of lies about WMD etc.

I am American and dont like to hear PM Blair grouped with people such as you have. I am sure Churchill and all other great leaders who have been painted well by history also thought that what they did was right or they would not have done it. Your question is silly and goes without thought, your comments about your Prime Minister are uncalled for.

Those on your list did not think they were doing right. They believed they could get away with doing wrong. It is shameful to compare Tony Blair with that group.

Blair and his sycophants perfected the art and practice of SPIN (brainwashing).
His propaganda machine makes Goebbels a blundering incompetent.
Repetition, Repetition, Repetition confirms the old adage:
Repeat a LIE often enough and it becomes the TRUTH.
Well, that is true for the GULLIBLE masses.
When Tony Blair came to power in 1997 he made one particular speech in which he declared:
"We are the first generation whose children and grandchildren will not have to live through another war."
He has taken this country into FIVE wars in ten years.

His farewell speech illustrates the overwhelming conceit and ego of the man. like all dictators he is a control freak and cannot conceive that he personally could be wrong. By selling seats in the House of Lords in return for thinly disguised donations and his refusal to listen to public opinion and petitions he has reduced the British Parliament to little more than an elected dictatorship.

How many leaders that take their country into war have actually ever fought on a battlefield. How many have lost close relatives due to war.

I'm not saying Blair did a good job, I'm not saying he did a bad job, but I sure as hell now that he can't be compared to Hitler! Everyone would like to think that if it was them up there they would be able to do a much better job, until the opportunity presents itself and you find out that its not only you that makes decisions, Blair was the speaker but he had a large party and government behind him and I don't see anyone pointing fingers their way???
