What is a good guess on what happened to Eddie Brock after spiderman ripped off the venom costume?Is he dead or did he disappear and is this part of how the rumor of the fact that the venom may be back for Spiderman 4?

lt looks like he's dead since villains in Spiderman movies all die in the end. lt's the Sandman that gets me thinking. He just "flew away" in the end. Where did he go? hhmmmm....

According to the comic book serie(s), (there were several based on Spiderman), "Venom" is a symbiote, an alien entity, (recall the meteor crashing in the beginning of the film?). Yes, Eddie Brock is "dead", however the symbiote just needed a host and it got just that from Eddie, it absorbed Eddie and later according to the comic series the symbiote took on its own persona as "Venom".
Venom is a very likely candidate for the next film because Peter Parker and Venom are arch-enemies and Venom adds a lot of color to the story-line.

ok the explosion didnt kill venom or eddie one venom was still moving at the end, just on fire, and where was eddies body? but there are no confirmed reports that venom or lizard will be in the 4th, but to the guy who said that it will be the doctor who had that small piece of the symbiote will be the next venom, dude ur daft that guy IS the LIZARD!! read a ******* comic book, he was in the first trilogy as a joke to fans aluding that he may have been in two ot three and now maybe four

To answer your question no,Eddie Brock and the symbiote did not die from the explosion.Just think about it ,venom is one of spideys biggest villans in the spiderman universe and to take him out would be stupid espicially since he only appeared in the last 30 minutes of the movie.I'll give you two reasons why Edidie and the symboite could'nt have died. 1)There are rumors that Carnage is going to be the next big major villan in spiderman4 and if carnage does appear then venom will come back for the reason that when spidey fought carnage he lost badly,and after realizing he could never defeat carnage on his own spidey went to venom for help and together the two barely managed to defeat carnage with their combined strength.So if Carnage does appear then venom has to come back unless spidey gets help from someone elese like the Black Cat,Dare Devil,or the Lizard if he appears in spiderman4 but it's highly unlikely for that to happen. 2)Now iv'e gone to see spiderman3 2 times and each time i've asked myself if venom survived,now i've finally come up with an answer.If you recall earlier in the movie when spidey was still effected by the black suit he swung a pumpkin bomb that harry threw at him back and the bomb exploded on harry only badly injuring one side of his face but not killing him.So when spidey threw a pumpkin bomb at Eddie he would still be there hurt and badly injured.But if Eddie did die then his corpse would've been left behind or pieces of it.So the best bet is that the symboite managed to rebond with Eddie before the bomb exploded and escaped. But how the spiderman movies out now still missing parts of the storyline like how spidey fought Vulture and Electro before he even encontered the Green Goblin i guess you cant expect every battle from spideys main villans to be fought.

I think there is a 50/50 chance Venom could come back. Since Eddie jumped into the black stuff prior to it blowing up he could be dead but then again if he does come back he could end up like Harry with a deformity of some sort.

I think Venom has been killed for good. The piece of symbiote that Dr. Connor has could be the basis for Carnage in a future Spider-Man movie. Venom overall I think was cheated by not being the only main Villain of Spider-Man 3.

I just saw the movie, and it sucks. Sorry for spiderman's fans. but it's a waste if they do a 4th. ...Well maybe he and his girlfriend finally get marry, or probably they have little spidys..

that was the best part of the hole movie..
