I made a spectacle of myself- it's a bit short sighted now if I look back on it- but I just couldn't see what eye was looking for.

Yes and what's worse is not being able to see what you're looking AT when trying new frames.
I had to ask directions to a new optician shop once. I was standing in front of it at the time. I said to the person I had asked....'You can see why I need to go there, can't you? ' lol

Yes. I also went to a double glazing showroom and when the salesman asked if he could help I said I was just window shopping

I guess you mean frames. You can buy different frames from somewhere else and get your optician to put the right prescription in them.

Everyone does.. look online. I don't think anyone is happy with the glasses that look best on them-- at least I wasn't. After a month, they always grow on you and you end up liking them.

Yes. That's why I always take my husband with me, so that he can help me pick out new frames. I can never see how they look on my face. He's a big help.

All the time. By the way, do you know where to find camouflage pants? I can never find them.
