If you do, state your age. I'm about to turn 21, I no longer live at home, and I'd feel uncomfortable if I were to cuss in front of them. How about you?

As a matter of clarification, my parents wouldn't care if I cussed in front of them. I'd just feel uncomfortable if I did.

Hmm. I am 23. I rarely do, but there are times when I am angry and talking to them and one pops out. I try not to though. My parents choose not to use that language most of the time so it's respectful to choose not to use it around them.

no. I am 33,and been away from home for 10 years and I wouldn't dream of cussing in front of them. For one thing, I'd get my head knocked off or I would be picking my teeth up in the next county. I do cuss but not in front of them. They are highly Christian.

I don't believe that I should cuss in front of my mother, her husband, my grandma or my aunt, I am 36. In a day and time when people are so provocative, brazen and unyielding. Some things need to be kept sacred. You should respect your parents.

You can tie your parents hands as parents. When you view them and treat them too common things can change. If you have to ask you probably should not do it. Ask your parents how would they fill if you cussed around them?

I cuss i front of them all the time. Cussing was often heard in the house growing up, kinda like normal conversation.

Good for you honey.
I am a senior citizen and I never cursed in front of my parents.

I must have respected them, because I remember my older brothers doing it. They where in WW2, a lot older then me.
I never heard women curse when I was growing up.

I am a Christian & I raised 5 children, and they do not curse in front of me,& if they do accidently say a curse word, they apologize right off, or I will tell them that language is not necessary. Which ever comes first, doesn't happen often.

I think we not only disrespect our parents but we belittle ourselves with low life grammer.Good question. Bless you~jill

I am 22 I still live at home (only because I am waiting for my bf to finish school) I do cuss in front of my parents and in front of my grandmother. Not horrible words just typically s.h.i.t , d.a.m.n, h.e.l.l. and ********* but I will not drop the f bomb unless its a complete accident. And no dirty words either lol

25, and yeah, I curse in front of them regularly. But I tone it down from the really harsh words. Not because I feel uncomfortable, but just out of respect for them.
