Hitler was far worse than Saddam! Hitler was responsible for the deaths of over 6 million Jews and the deaths of millions of soldiers and civilians around the world.

well that depends...
Over time then definitely Saddam. He had nearly 30yrs of terror towards his own people and neighboring countries. He was definitely out for World Domination.
But if you mean during a technically "short" reign of terror then I'd say Hitler. Thank God he was stopped long before 30yrs were up.
If Hitler had been allowed to continue then there would be no one left. Including himself, logically.
If Saddam and sons had been allowed to continue there would be no one left as well.
So I'd say it was a toss up.

Saddam didn't kill nearly as many as Hitler, and Saddam's legacy is barely noticable,
we still live with middle eastern conflicts along with the state of Israel because of Hitler.

Of the five worst mass murderers in the past 75 years, only one has been brought to justice:
Joseph Stalin massacred 10 million of his countrymen, and died peacefully in his sleep;
Adolph Hitler gassed 6 million Jews and committed suicide to escape being brought to justice;
Idi Amin killed 2 million people in Uganda and retired in luxurious 'exile';
Saddam Hussein slaughtered more than a million Iraqis and was hanged by the 'puppet' government installed by the Bush administration;
George W. Bush has (so far) been responsible for the deaths of 675,000 Iraqis and 3,300 U.S. soldiers, and has yet to be held accountable or accept any responsibility for this wholesale murder.
Everytime I write this answer, someone responds that "George Bush was elected President; he is the Commander-In-Chief, blah, blah, blah..." So were Stalin, Hitler, Amin and Hussein leaders of their respective countries, "elected" or brought to office in the same sinister ways that George W. Bush was; so don't try to justify the actions of G.W. Bush just because he's an American leader. He's still an insane, bullheaded, stubborn, corrupt, evil mass murderer, no better or no worse than the four cretins that preceded him. -RKO- 05/10/07

The correct and more pertinent question is, " who is worse, the people who supported Hitler, or the people who supported Saddam?" Individually, neither of these bozos would have amounted to anything if the people they ruled over had been less apathetic and tossed them out on their ears.
