. I grew up with the future being this shinning limitless adventure. Space was the new horizon we all wondered about. We were the children of the Greatest Generation, The men and women that defeated the insanity of tyrants,who would have ended freedom and hope for our future. As the years went by we learned to drop, duck and cover outside and to huddle under our desks at school, if the flash of blinding light ever came We watched as our country and Russia stood eyeball to eyeball over missiles in Cuba, and we were all relieved when both sides blinked. We tore the country apart over the war in Viet Nam. My generation witnessed assassinations, Aids, the world get smaller with instant communications . And had a religion declare war on us. We've had all that happen and we have a right to fear the future, but what ever happens our families will face it , adapt and move on. No, fear of the future is not a fear we have anymore.

Honestly, sometimes. But I have faith in God.
Personally, anytime I've been scared about some event in the future it never happened and I only made myself sick with worrying.
Now I'm not saying certain things (decisions) do not require forethought and planning. Yet, we need to go through life as if the best things are about to happen. Not worrying the world is going to fall apart tomorrow or today.
Being scared of the future only helps if it motivates you to make things better in this world.

Whatever the future has in store for us, it is the consequences of today's actions.
If today I have lived with wisdom, then I should not worry about the future, for I have done my best. Whatever may come, I face it head on.

of the future...yes !!! im scare that when i would get married my favorite persons wouldn't be able to be there...im scare that my parents wouldn't be in this world no more....im scare how i would handle things on my own...
