What about (I can't remember his name) the guy who gave Locke the file on Sawyer-he has dark hair-anyway, he hasn't aged at all...

Do you think Locke will die? He was supposedly, afterall "special". Whatever that meant...

I liked this episode, it was neat to see Ben's history. I find Ben to be a fascinating villian, similar to Arvin Sloan on Alias. Hmmm, same people are involved in making both shows.... I like his complexities, never quite knowing if he is telling the truth or manipulating someone.

Jacob is an interesting new mystery. Why did he ask John to help him? Is he a prisoner of Ben??

Did anyone else recognize Ben's dad as Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite? :) Or Broots from Pretender..

Locke getting shot will be a good twist, I read on a magazine cover at the store that there were 5 deaths coming up. Yikes!! But, yeah, Locke has a weird relationship to the Island, I don't think they'll kill him really, I'll stick with my theory about Paolo and Nikki, being buried in the Island may bring them back, same with Locke. The Island can keep him from dying.

Is he really invisible?
Or is he just a figment of Ben's warped imagination, that he's projecting through telekinetic activity?
Or is he stranded in a parallel universe, on another plane, where he can only reach out to certain people?
Or is he a ghost/poltergeist?
Only the Shadow [writers] knows.
FYI: I recognized Ben's father as the werewolf from Monster Squad, and the guy who brought them to the Island as part of Dharma was Percy from The Green Mile (or Eugene Toombs from X-Files), depending on which genre you like.

Richard Alpert is who you are thinking of :) Looks like he hasn't aged much though Ben is now definitely much older.

I think Jacob is a ghost or someone on another plane of existence, or SOMETHING! In the briefest glimpse we had, he looked like Locke but with hair!

I think Locke will be just fine. I mean, the island healed him of his paralysis, I'm sure a gunshot wound is nothing to the healing powers, especially if he IS special!

All I know is I loved the episode, freaky!
