chances are yes, there is a possiblity it is lost, if you know the day properly, and if the history range is not availabel then it is hard to find.

btw...if u suspect certain sites...and if that site use cookie..or if they have downloaded...or visited the site for the first time ..u can find some info form temp internet file

The history would be lost but you could still look through the temporary internet files
Go to Tools ->
Internet Options ->
Settings ->
View Files

You can view a certain type by clicking on the Type column, this will sort it, If your thinking they went on the type of site I think your thinking of then look for JPEG files, to view them more easily select all the files and copy and paste them into a new folder (anywhere you want to creat the new folder is fine, for example on your desktop or in my documents) then in the new folder go to View -> Thumbnails.

Unfortunately this won't work if they deleted the temporary internet files, the sooner you do this the better because if the size is only set to a certain amount then it will start deleting some of the files.

I'd suggest your daughter protects her computer with a password that is not easy to figure out if you don't want your son using it. But even if he is unable to get to the internet from that computer chances are he will find another way to get to the sites he wants

Hi ,just for you to know its not a sure thing that they went on a internet site by taking pics from a webcam ,its possible that they just took pics from the webcam, but the (cookies) or right click on the pics and click properties, or check your active x plugins on your internet options because if they were at a site the computer downloads certain active x plugins in order to work especially adult sites. hope i helped:)

If you are using Internet Explorer, then even if the cache (browser history) has been deleted, chances are the index.dat files (they store references to previously visited web sites and cookies) are still on the pc as they have to be manually deleted and your system rebooted.

To read index.dat files, use Index.dat Suite free here
