Because they are either related to them or friends with them.

Because liberals see them as "victims" and victims are the most revered people in liberalism.
They're just another oppressed group that needs their "civil rights" (which are whatever they stinkin feel like having)

I believe everyone should care what convicts think. If these people are going to be freed someday, it should be the number one consideration!
