I have Tata bradband internet connection Now it's working in my one system now I want to connect internet to my another one system, I am having lan card in my both system and I have one Ethernet switch, I have single static IP address when I try to connect my second system only lan connection is ok but internet is not access in my second Pc any one could you help me? advanced thanks

You cannot run your cable to the switch to split your internet connection. The reason for that is because your ISP has assigned you ONE IP address. Running that into a switch will send 2 different requests from both computers and cause conflicts, that's why one will get on the internet and the other won't.

If you want to split the internet connect, get a router. They are fairly cheap these days and do what you need to do.

You are going to need a router in place of the switch. The router will then assign different local IP addresses for each computer. Switches can't do that nor can they route traffic.

You need a router to share the connection.
