Can you give me some troubleshooting tips, please.
Following the same steps, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't.
My notebook automatically detects the area's wireless connections. I've set it to automatically connect at home
and at the cafe up the street.
Sometimes it just doesn't connect at the cafe AT ALL.
I can see it and detect it, but going through all the
steps doesn't do anything.
What do you suggest?
Thanks a million!

If you can't connect to wireless Internet at the cafe but the signal is ok that's because there is limited number of connections to that particular hot-spot. You will have to wait a little when someone get disconnected and try again. :) Thank you for asking

Sometimes the signal given from the cafe isnt strong enough. Also the wireless modem could be looking for your home network as your primary network and connecting to that. In the lower right-hand corner where your time is you should see an icon of a computer monitor. When you click on that and search for networks it will show you all that it finds. You can click connect on which of the 2 networks you would like to connect to and it should connect. If not then sometimes the modem might need to be reset, which I'm sure you can ask an employee and they will do so for you.

Wireless Internets are very sensitive, Most of the time it needs clear weather condition because the signal comes from the air. Clear weather means no obstruction but healthy signal keeping your Internet connected
