Everyone has their own taste and their own preference in music. And there is always going to be people out there who love it and who hate it.

It honestly disgusts me how some people are so rude and so judgmental about others taste in music. For example, one person answered it's "drug music". I can tell you that I have been a trance/techno fan for 10+ years and I have NEVER and will NEVER do any kinds of drugs. I've never even tried a cigarette before. There are plenty of people who listen to techno or trance music and they don't do drugs. That kind of answer just shows how ignorant people are.

Techno music to me is more upbeat, more happy, the kind of stuff you hear on the radio and in the clubs. Fast beat, fast lyrics, makes you want to dance kind of music. Some techno artists might include: Cascada, Lasgo, Iio, Kylie Minogue, Angel City, D.H.T., etc.

Trance to me is a lot slower, a lot "sadder" as my boyfriend likes to say, and more calming. The lyrics are a lot slower (if there are any at all) and it's pretty repetitive. Some trance songs are pretty fast though (take the ever so popular "Sandstorm" by Darude). Some other trance artist might include: Above & Beyond, Dopamine, Judge Jules, Nysse & Hinton, Paul Okenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Ian Van Dahl, etc.

Good given the right artist. There is some that is a piece of **** but some of it is actually pretty good.

i like it. makes me feel like dancing... i prefer latin music though, gunther is my favorite techno artist.

i dislike techno. it's gives me a headache. and people look like complete idiots when they attemp to dance to it. :P
