with the passing of darrent williams, their defense is set back.
they have a QB that's still in the learning process and their situation at RB is still up in the air.
plus they're in the AFC, the tougher of the 2 conferences, they'll have to beat a seemingly unbeatable Patriots team and a still very strong Indy team (and there's at least 5 other teams that are as good or better, e.g. Chargers, Chiefs, JAX, Miami etc. etc.
i see playoffs, but an early exit.
sorry. but you never know.

I'd love to see them go. I have to disagree with the other guy though, Shanahan has proven he can coach a team to a superbowl, Elway didnt get there alone, his earlier career proves that, same with Marino, Moon, etc.
I dont think they can get there yet, the Broncos have paid a big price by winning every year in the form of low draft picks. They seem to always come out of the draft with great picks though, so who knows? I still think they need development at QB. Kubiak was a huge loss for the Broncos, but I was all for it, living in Houston and all....

NO because Cutler is still a young player and he needs at least 1 or 2 more years to mature and carry a team to a superbowl.

yes because travis henry is the perfect back for there system, jay cutler is showing promise, Javon Walker is one of the best wr's in the league, Brandon marshall is gonna be a great wr some day, we still have a great o line, Daniel graham adds another tight end that could start, our biggest need in the off season was the pass rush and what did we address in the draft? yea you guessed it the defensive line. The addition of dre bly will take pressure off of champ bailey and that will allow time for our rookie defensive linemen to sack the quarterback, we still have one of the best linebacking cores in the nfl, and we have future hall of fame safety in john lynch, and one of the best coaches in the nfl.
I say superbowl this year or next.

Mike Shanahan has yet to prove he can coach a team to the superbowl without John Elway. This is a group of under achivers and have been for the past 3 or 4 years. I doubt this year will be any different.

I don't know, not too good if their defense doesn't step up. They may go toe to toe with the Chargers this season. Anyway, I do hope so, because it's no fun when one team dominates a division. And yes, I know that the Chargers are 0-2, but we all know it won't be long before they open up their can of whoop azz.

No, They do have a talented team but there are question marks. Namely Cutler, He didn't dominate the couple of games he played, Their running backs are solid but Bell had fumble problems last year, and Shanahan may be nearing his end of coaching, at least in Denver.

Not with Cutler. Give him 2 more years then maybe, but you don't even know what you have with him yet. Plus the linebackers took a hit with Al Wilson getting released.

Just wait for the season to start. To everybody who keeps saying the Patriots, Chargers, and the Colts, wipe your mouth, you got some white stuff on the side.
