I dont have money to lend and I dont borrow. I think you get in trouble doing either one of those things.

I have only lend money to my son and he has always paid me back. I don't lend money out to anyone, only my son.
I have never borrowed money from family or friends.

Both. I borrow and pay back. I lend and do not expect it back... works for me... I'm never dissappointed because I have no wrong expectations concerning getting back my money. Those who do pay me back are of course the true friends... :)

lender, and no i don't demand it back -- i only lend to the people that i am close to and if they did it i am more then willing to help out

I have a problem with giving too much to those around me, then coming up short myself. No worries, though, I believe in karma, and it all evens out.
