It's for S+E assignment. We have to pretend to be convitcs in Australia and we are escaping to Java. We have to have a few reasons for why we want to escape there. Do you know why they would want to escape there?

Because in Early 1800's , Java is full of Dutches. I think it's the best time in Java's History. Everything are 100 year better than Java's real civiliation. So, if you are escaping from Australia which is not really nice place on that time, why don't go to the place where the great civilitation already built.

(sorry for bad English. I'm Indonesian and i Live in java)

I would guess that you were a different religion or race or creed than the others in Australia, and you had heard that Java has like-minded people. Or perhaps you heard of money and rich land that you covet, or it's the easiest place to get to (with your limited knowledge) so you can begin an exodus back to your homeland.

Java did not exist in the 1800's because the Personal Computer had not been invented yet. It would make sense why you would want to escape into using Java because of its ability to use applets so well when designing complex call procedures.
