never been there, but i have replied with poetry of my own and verses from songs, i like it!!
Once i was caught i was petrified
kept thinking how i drifted to the other side
But then I spent so much time
with Polls and Surveys on my mind
and I was mortified

Never. The only poetry I know starts "There once was a man from Nantucket..." so I figured I had better stay out of there.

Busted! (nothing to be ashamed of... and since I am off to class, here's a poem for your day.*grin* It's Leonard Cohen... and one of my favourites by him. "The Music Crept by Us" :)
I would like to remind
the management
that the drinks are watered
and the hat-check girl
has syphilis
and the band is composed
of former SS monsters
However since it is
New Year's Eve
and I have lip cancer
I will place my
paper hat on my
concussion and dance.
