I wish I hadn't, as it really messed up my life

I don't have kids, but my best friend does. She every now and again feels regret with losing her freedom... she wanted a child... got twins and never got a silent moment again in her life... from my perspective it is also her personality that gives her no rest whatsoever... but I know she sometimes regrets having children. It does not mean she loves her children any less though and she wouldnt want to miss them for all the peace and quiet in the world...

The good of having kids far outweighs the bad, but yes, there are times when I regret it. Today for example. I put in over 40 hours of overtime at my job hoping to have a good overtime check. The thing about my job, though, is that if you call in, they covert your overtime into time instead of pay. My daughter caught strp thoat day before yesterday and since noone else is able to watch her, I had to call in.

No at thing. We had one son he was truly a blessing. Good health. Great attitude. Never gave us any trouble. He never was on drugs or smoked weed or even plain cigarettes. He is 25 now and just got his dream job of being a Police Officer.

We are very proud of him and I never have had any regrets.

not anymore. I was resentful for a long time because his father doesn't help take care of him. But I do okay by myself, now that I have accepted I am going to this alone, and that took almost 5 years to accept, I am okay with it.

I regret that I didnt have more. Best thing I ever did my whole life was have these wonderful, amazing, joyous children. They drive me nuts, they make me laugh, they make me cry, they own my heart.

I wish I could have/would have waited much longer.

I missed my twenties pretty much all together.

At least I will be a young grandparent....maybe. Nothing ever seem to work out as you have it planned!

They can be so self centered sometimes. I wished I could have skipped their sarcastic teenage years. That's when I had to turn into a grand-pooba-royal-*****.
