Anyone heard any cast buzz for "Lost"?

Question

They have said a bloodbath is coming in the season finale and we left Locke in pit last night...anyone heard who may not be coming back in future episodes?

It seems unlikely they would kill off major popular characters, they have said they committed to three more seasons.

Heard any news about contract negotiations gone bad, or actors who want out?

I heard 5 were going to die, but they're tight lipped on the details. I think that sucks though, I watch shows for the characters as much as the plot, and this show keeps killing people off. I don't know if they can maintain their audience if all the fave characters go bye bye.

The 3 season contract is for only 16 / year. They will run continuously, like this 2nd have of season 3. So , yeah, they will probably not start til Jan, or they'll end early. I think it is good that they finally have a ending time so they can lay out all the pieces of the puzzle and conclude the show in a way that will be satisfactory to the fans. I hate it when shows get cancelled and have to wrap up fast, or not at all.

The obvious answer is Charlie. Due to Desmond's premonitions, Charlie may be the one to die. Problem is, Lost isn't usually so predictable. In that we've been told Charlie is going to die, I'm thinking that because Desmond saved Charlie he altered the course of destiny. I think Jin might die. I've had that feeling for a while. The thing about Lost is that they keep such a tight lid on the cast news that we don't hear gossip like that. It makes it enjoyable because all the deaths are such shocks. I can't wait till the season finale.

I heard something about a "return of the kids." I haven't heard any other cast news but they are thinking about changing the time slot next season and the show may not return until January.
