I heard this just the other day: there are currently 2500 (yes two thousand five hundred) satelites up there. Good luck finding a list of names.

there are thousands of them, the list would be way too long, but there are communication satellites, GPS, radio, tv, so forth and so on....i hope this helps!!!!!

Definitely not because there are so many military ones up there. You might try NORAD; they may have a list.
