Nichole Nordeman wrote a song called "I Am" about Jesus. The first verse is:
Pencil marks on a wall
I wasn't always this tall
You scattered some monsters from beneath my bed
You watched my team win
You watched my team lose
You watched when my bicycle went down again
And when I was weak

i wrote one in class:
I am stubborn, a dreamer, and loving
I want to see my brother more often
I need to know I am loved constantly
I can be tough to deal with sometimes
I am stubborn, a dreamer, and loving
I know God and Jesus are always there for me
I fear that my friends won’t be in heaven with me
I wish I could save them and tell them God loves them
I will endure to the end if my word falls apart
I cry when I think about my brother running away
Although I see him sometimes

I believe that everyone in the world can love and be loved
I understand that I am just a kid and I may not understand everything
I love my friends, family and, myself
