Most women ovulate sometime during the middle of their cycle, about halfway between periods. Some women can tell when they ovulate because their discharge will change consistancy, and they will notice emotional changes. It is possible to get pregnant at any time, but much more unlikely so close to your period. There has to be an egg present to get pregnant. If you're really worried, take a test.

I highly doubt it. Since ovulation usually occurs on day 14 for most women during their cycle. So 4 days into yours isn't really possible, as you'll be in a dry phase. Ovulation must happen in order for a woman to get pregnant, and it can't happen "any time", there is only one egg per month, and there is a narrow window there for fertilization.
Not all women ovulate on the 14th day, thus why I provided a link, it's very important that you know how your body works.
May I also suggest condoms, and birth control.
