cows produce an enourmous amount of methane when they fart. methane is also used for rocket fule. maybe he ate mexican food the night before. hahahahha

Actually, the cow that did the jumping was a hybrid.

It had been cross-bred with one of the animals Jor-el brought from the planet Krypton on a scouting mission to Earth before their planet blew up (the event that sent Superman to us).

What isn't mentioned in the original Nursery Rhyme is that the cow was the world record holder in the standing high jump at the time, but that its records were disqualified later due to steroid use (the feed had been doctored).

If something jumped over the moon it does not necessary mean that it obtained escape velocity. U can have orbits that go around the moon and u would return to earth.

Well, you'd need propulsion. The law of conservation of momentum tells us that for the cow to gain upward momentum, something else must have gotten downward momentum... thus, something must have been expelled from the cow's rear end, and rather forcefully.
