Most recently: James Blunt and Hinder. Hinder could potentially be a pretty good band but their lyrics just....could have been written by a 6th grader in heat. James Blunt's voice gives me a headache...its too whiney. And I like my whiney voices ie DMB, John Mayer, Gary Allen. Just JB's is just not the good kind of whiney.
Now this is a little off the topic, but a Song that everyone loves but I hate very much is "Beverly Hills" by Weezer. I don't have a clue how it got so popular amongst the non-weezer fans, but it did and was played ON EVERY RADIO station. My husband HATES weezer but loved this song-and loved to torture me by playing it over and over--ugh!!!! I just think its a horrible song to portray one of my favorite bands--if you've listed to the Blue Album or Pinkerton, you know that Beverly Hills just really isn't the type of song they make (The lyrics yeah but not the music, just it was so poppy) So that's my answer :-)

Nirvana. Hands down, the most overrated band in history. I do like Dave Grohl though. Foo Fighters are a million times better than Nirvana

I actually scrolled through what people said and laughed when I read something along the lines of "my chemical romance... they have no talent". They clearly do.
But anyways, within temptation and 36 crazyfists... I dont hate either of them, I just dont like them as much as I do other bands...

Panic at the disco. i've heard the entire A Fever you can't sweat album, and it all sounds like a remix of Queen's Killer Queen. Every Song!!!!!!
it's so repetitive, and all these people think they're just so freaking great! WTF?
Edit: got so carried away in that I forgot to mention how I think they suck too.

I don't know if they are still popular today, but a few years ago everyone was all about the Dave Matthews Band. I thought they were terrible.
