Will it be accurate to true basketball history and kobe's future judgment that perhaps the single greatest player of his generation, even though winning 3 rings has never won an MVP? When we look at statistics, won't a lack of MVP cheat his legacy by being a shot against him? "If he was so good, how come he never won one" Does anyone think maybe bias against him as a bad team player, or just plain dislike by the media has influenced decisions for him not to win? Good competition or not, something doesn't seem right about losing it year after year. He is the Susan Lucci of MVP's.

I would say no. If he is so good why do his teams still suck. Lebon doesn't have much more to work with in Cleveland but they are doing much better.

Saying Kobe deserves the MVP with 3 rings is like saying Devean George, Rick Fox, Derek Fisher deserves the MVP. They were just teammates of Shaq at his prime. Just look at the season stats and especially look at the playoffs stats. Shaq broke the record on everything! Assists, rebounds, points, blocks, and free throws made and attempted!

Sure, if the NBA is a 1-on-1 game, Kobe is MVP, no doubt about that. But the NBA is a 5-on-5, and Kobe's childish attitude isn't going to cut it. This "me-me-me" and "I want to be a hero" attitude is plain childish. Look at Kobe's shooting streak, about 20-30 points are completely needless. So why doesn't Kobe pass the ball so his teammates can share the glory? That would have build team confidence. Kobe only pass the ball when the team is losing. That kills team confidence. Kobe is a vampire, he sucks the confidence away. When Kobe was injured, Lakers played great. Look at what happened when he came back.

Kobe for MVP? Now that would be unfair.

I agree with your statement completely, except for the fact that Tim Duncan is the greatest player of this generation (since Jordan retired after 1998). But other than that, it is VERY unfair if he never wins one. He is better than Garnett, Nash, Nowitzki, Iverson, dare I say even better than Shaq? Yes, even better than Shaq. Shaq has no skills, he just relies on his heavy body to bully people down low. I don't see what's so amazing about this, but I guess I am the only one. But yeah, Kobe should have won it last year for sure. Nash, 2 times in a row, was just a joke played on the world by the media.

It was either between Kobe or Nash,Kobe did have 81 points but Nash had 21 assits and 22 pionts in one game.Nash averaged about 20.00 pionts last year and over 12 assists, Nash led his team and was a team player.Kobe was great last year but Nash led one of the best teams last year and helped guys like Stoudemire and Marion become great and famous baskerball players.

hahahahaha....i love you Kobe haters. THERORETICLY....lets say next year by some miracle the lakers get Kidd, garnett, billips or any other all star the haters say kobe cant play with because he needs the ball all the time...Avg. 32 ppg, 48% fg%, 6asst, 6rebs, 2stls in 2008 and leads his team to the title. Wins season MVP and Finals MVP.(if they get garnette this could be possible stats...big IF) Then what would you say? I can hear it now..."He still sucks, he only won because of Garnett", "He did'nt deserve it because he was accused of rape and cheated on his wife", "If he is so good why could'nt he do better with the team he had?" "This one does'nt count because nash had a off season","The leage gave it to him just to improve his image" Need i go on? The guy will never win with you people, even if he accomplishs everything that makes him suck and a bad teammate to your eyes you will still find something to tear him apart about. You haters are great!

ok so which you assert that a set's win class should not be taken under consideration.... besides the undeniable fact that! you would be able to desire to realize, kobe makes his group extra advantageous with each and every thing he does. So the very incontrovertible fact that he helps his group WIN is a valid factor. you've each and all of the stats in the international, yet once you dont help your group win, your ineffective. a suited occasion is kobe numerous years in the past while he became into scoring like loopy.... his stats have been ridiculous. yet he DIDNT win the mvp, steve nash did. Steve nash won via fact he made the suns as a set amazing and helped them win video games. Lebron is an incredible participant and his group desires him to WIN video games. yet he would not have that management to make his group extra advantageous. Its extra advantageous than filling up the stat sheet, its the way you're helping your group. so some distance as KG and Paul Pierce go.... nicely i think of its difficult to validate an mvp on that group once you have 3 stars on one group (allen, pierce, and kg). human beings anticipate you to win with gamers like that. Kobe would not have a KG (yet, bynum will come alongside) or ray allen helping me out. And dont tell me he has vujacic, farmar, walton, lamar, or pau via fact those adult males dont evaluate to the time-honored of allen, kg, or pierce. Oh and the cavs have somewhat began to win this season... they nevertheless have lots to coach

"perhaps the single greatest player of his generation" Hahaha! That's such a joke! How can you call such a selfish player a great player? He is a very good player, but he has not even reached great status and may never. It has been quite apparent that he has not deserved the MVP so far in his career. A great player makes those around him and the team better. Often Kobe takes away from his teams performance, just as he often enhances his teams performance. He lacks a consistent team game, and therefor should also lack the term 'great'. Great players make their whole team better than they normally would be on a nightly basis. Example, Magic, Jordan, Bird, Shaq, Duncan, Nash, etc.

I think you are right. But Shaq is awesome and has only won one-time. The **** is rigged up if you ask me. Steve Nash has never won a title and look at Dirk. I mean Shaq has 4 titles and Kobe has 3, what gives.
