Going back to the past.. is something harder than you think?

going back to the old love..
going back to the old self..
going back to the old school..
going back to the old faults..
going back to the memories..

When i am no longer the same person i used to be back then..

will it be even harder than i think?

I can understand ur question truly. Its easy for others to say, "move on" or dont live in the past" when the fact is no matter how hard u try to move on, u will still have the past memories with u always.
U cannot forget the past unless u have a bad memory!
All u can do is get urself busy coz when ur busy u would not have time to think of the past but when u dont have anything to do u will be in ur past.

Memories sometimes behave in a crazy way, they leave u when ur in a crowd and stand like a crowd around u when ur alone.

It is really hard to get back to something after u have move on and became more strong.
If u have moved away from something that was hurtful to u, dont get back to it.
But if u moved away from someone who truly loves and cares for u then do give somethinking over that coz people who love and care for us r hard to find.
Good luck!

The dilemma of such a consideration is regarding continuity.
In my opinion, it isn't fair to one's self to be too critical
about past occurences because present rationality
inhibits accurate reconstruction of past rationality;
the individual would have to unknow present rationality
because the individual has resources in the present
which weren't available in the past.

In the past continuity actions can be rationalized due to
details of that continuity. To consider the past continuity
from the present continuity is to imply that throughout
life the human mind easily grows exponentially. The
reason why is because at the past moment everything
which preceded that moment as causality to that
moment predicates the action. Therefore, if the individual
seeks to consider the past moment then the individual's
mind must be capable of storing every past causality
combined with every present reflective rationality while
simultaneously storing every present causality.

It won't be hard as long as you only go back to the better loves, the better self, the better memories and so on. It wouldn't be practical if that old something has already been replaced by a better something. In that case, there's really no turning back.

Life is about change and evolving and the future. Not the past.
I think it would be easy to fall into old habits good or bad, but why would you want to. continue to move forward and be the person you are today not the person you were way back when!

i think yes and no,,,, as you said, you are not the same person you were then,,,,, and time has moved on,,,,,,,, so the situation, whatever it is, will not be exactly the same,,,,, you cant totally recapture the good feelings from the past,,,, though you can come close,,,, nor can you, even though changed, ignore the bad feelings,,, you will just approach them differently,,, some things that you thought would be hard might not be, and some you may not even remembered, or remembered differently,,, will be hard to face,,,,,,

The return is only difficult if the memories were unpleasant (as they seem to be here.)
But why go back at all? See if you can figure out a way to keep from immersing yourself in this quagmire from the past.

You will never be the same person if you try or not, things change everyday in every way, events unfold, time moves, people change, the only constant thing in life is change, so you can't go back.

Comforting on the contrary.. if you are an achiever .. shows how far you traveled .Makes present enjoyable,I think.

May be keep the old flame out of it .. it is a different chapter altogether .Matter of heart , you see.. when you wanted to give whole of yourself in unconditionally. Umm....that makes me think of mine . Sad... nah....... 'Raindrops are falling on my head' ( B.J. Thomas )
