So then she got people to advise her on fashion and style, and got absolutely panned for it in the tabloids.
The campaign against her, principally from the nasty right wing Daily Mail, has been spiteful in the extreme and the reason for it is that she is highly educated, a successful barrister and QC (achieved through ability, not, as some idiot has suggested above, through nepotism), and brought up a young family while in the media spotlight. These are all the things that the misogynistic Daily Mail hates.
What is a real shame is that so many shallow people fall for it.

I am pretty sure Tony has never been a meal ticket to Cherie although I am fairly confident that without him she would not have bagged a stylist which is probably a good thing given the state of her pre 1997. Cherie does pretty nicely for herself i would imagine in her day job.

I think you'll find Cherie could buy Tony and make him dance on a chain.
She is far richer than him, she founded Matrix Chambers for a start! The PM doesn't have a great salary (£127k p.a.) compared to a businessman or a lawyer.

I suppose she will get by, she just happens to be a fabulous lawyer, and sits part time as a high court judge. How many footballers wives or any other celebrity can say that? stop having a go at a very intelligent eductaed woman, and have a pop at someone else!!

WOW...your claws are showing! Prime Minister Tony Blair has always managed to bring home the bacon while serving his country. I'm sure he has a few coins lying around and England can only hope they have someone as honorable to succeed him.

She`ll write a book about all the goings on in No.10. adding all the naughty bits. Perhaps which underpants our Tony wears. Who she had an affair with...Who he had an affair with etc.etc.........Then lots of mugs will buy it and she`ll become a best seller...........Then someone will suggest she stands for parliament........Then she`ll become Prime Minister..... What A thought!!!

She's a highly qualified and very well paid lawyer, and will continue to be just that, I expect.
