best thing you can do is make sure you are healthy...all you have to do is eat right and exercise a couple days out of the week and everything should be fine. dont be afraid however to give into your cravings. i had this incredible craving for mcdonalds hamburgers the first couple weeks of my second trimester and was told hey as long as i added healthy other foods throughout the day and take my vitamins, to go ahead and indulge myself. so i did and the baby is 100% healthy. Just keep in mind though that it is true that babys genetics and the enviornment you are in play a big part as well.

The most important things are your diet and lifestyle. Eat well, but healthy, stay hydrated and get good amounts of rest and light to moderate exercise.

Try to reduce stress and practice relaxation when you can.

Something you can't control that sometimes affects a baby's health is genetics.

take some classes, read some books, and ask your friends and family for advice. also it doesnt hurt to take in consideration how your parents did with you.

good luck
