Sure. You never know.
My last one was a disaster.
Our fifteenth anniversary is in September. ;o)

I agree with Kerrybobs answer enjoy, try to relax else you will not enjoy but most important be safe, let someone know exactly where your going, take a mobile with you, even get someone to phone you to make sure your OK and give the option of a get out plan. Don't ever put yourself in a vulnerable position on a blind date, remember its not seen as desirable to be easy, so you don't need to go anywhere private and secluded on a first date.
So be safe and have fun, you never know this could be the person you have been dreaming about, how romantic this experience could be, if you don't go you will never know.

I went on one (spoke on the phone only two times) and at the time it turned out great. I had a great time until later on in the relationship his family wrecked everything. But I am happily married to the right one now. Nervousness is expected but give this date the benefit of the doubt. You are not locked into anything. Good luck!!

Blind dates are what they are...kind of a shot in the dark! I've always been disappointed when I've gone on a blind date, but I've known people who married their blind date! You just never know. Go for it...drink some wine to relax before your date and have fun.

Ive always been lead to believe that most blind dates are because the other person cant get a date and the setter upper is trying to find them love. The few I have been on were with women that were a little ummmm desperate perhaps.

It depends on the person. Like me, my personality wouldnt do good on a blind date. I am not at all into surprises. I tend not to like people I already know or that I meet somewhere and kick it with. Good luck and be confident.

I had one which did me for a lifetime. I think it is more relaxing and natural for friends and their friends mingle at a restaurant table and get to know each other without the pressure of a blind date.

I went on two. The first one wore red shoes and a
great long scarf. (I pretended that I hadn't got over my last
boyfriend, said sorry and went home) shallow yes. but I was
a bit young.
The second looked like Max Wall without the leggings.
My sister in law fixed me up with him cos she said we had
the perfect horoscopes. He brought me home and wouldn't go so I just picked up his jacket and told him that I was now
going to bed. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
It would never have worked. Good Luck to you though. It
is funny to look back on and I am sure you'll have better luck
than me. Minxy.x.
