St. Louis Browns outfielder Tip O'Neill of the American Association, a native of Springfield, Ontario. Led the AA in batting average, on-base, slugging (a rather rare triple crown, that), runs, hits, doubles, triples, homers, and RBI (and so had a classic triple crown as well).

Finished sixth in singles, though. Whatta bum.
