I was just wondering if only runs count that are hit in regular season games.

No, the All-Star Game only counts on who will get home field advantage in the World Series. If the all-stars' stats count toward the season, it wouldn't be fair to all the other players that didn't get voted into the game.

The All-Star Game, the post season playoff games and the World Series games are separate entities. Only regular season games count toward 'homerun' and any other records.

Only homeruns hit during the regular season count towards his career total. The All-Star game is an exhibition game and therefore does not count. Also any homeruns hit during Spring Training or postseason play would not count towards the career total.

no, it has to be during a regular season game. no all-star nor playoffs. and screw barry bonds, who wants him to hit any, anyway.
