its getting annoying lol like if i ask where i can buy things people say american shops & i asked about the apprentice & people were talking about donald trump-this is an Uk site! things are very different here in the Uk! so doesnt make sense a lot of the time to have yanks answering my questions

There are no written rules to say who can answer what. Its a knowledge sharing site so be happy people are responding to you at all!

Unfortunately or fortunately this is not a UK or US site, it is an Internet site on the WORLD WIDE web. You may be feeding into Y! answers from a UK server but this actual site is accessible from anywhere.

This is a very good thing when talking about Society and culture as it exposes the average yank to alternate views and same with those from other countries.

It's not a UK site. If you want to see only questions from the UK, go to the drop down list on the left and choose "UK questions only".

Actually the real question is, why are there so many Brits on here? I was just wondering that myself. Pretty sure this is an American site.

I am in Germany, and I see the same questions everyone else does.

I'm trying to bridge a culutural gap between our two countries. Basically, we are fascinated with England, and don't have many resources to explore that culture, so we resort to YA-UK! (:->)
