Is it because they are uneducated or are they just lazy?

Where do I start?
Because the majority of the audio/visual stimulation we have been subjected to from a very young age is full of horrible grammar.
People don't read much anymore because of all the TV, music, and games that are so much easier and more fun. Reading is one of the best ways to learn better grammar (as long as the material is written with proper grammar)!
Primary and secondary teachers aren't paid enough to really, really care if a student knows the difference between you're and your, let alone if he ends a sentence with a preposition.
Secondary education isn't as crucial as it once was. With teachers having to focus on things like discipline and testing instead of being able to have fun with the teaching and learning experience, high schools are more of a day care for teens than anything else.

Are you serious. Come on man, this is a world that has been beaten by the ad bug. You dont got to spell write or use correct grammar. no more.

People use horrible grammer on questions because they can't put in the right form of question. It's just that, if they want to ask a question they want to put in the simplest form so nobody would get confused.

hey, don't be like that... not all of us uses English language as a daily language. some of them really tries hard and some of them even apologize for their grammar.

For some English is not their first language, for others they are using text abbreviations.

ppl from all over the world use this site.. so when u will know other languages like they know english than u can be mad on horrible grammar !

IT'S BECAUSE THEY HAVE LOST THEIR TYPING SKILLS FROM ALL THAT PHONE TEXTING
AND THE ANSWERS BELOW ME ARE CORRECT AS WELL
IT'S A NUMBER OF REASONS...YOU SHOULDN'T BE SO CRITICAL OF THEM. SOME OF THEM CAN'T HELP IT.
