Might be a stupid question, but if i take my 13 year old to Vegas, will she be able to sit in a bar with us while we have a drink? I am not talking clubs or adult bars, just a sports bar or a pub.

No one under the age of 21 can be IN the bar area. Those under 21 can sit in a restaurant with adults where alcohol is served.

well here is the thing...most of the time they wont let a child hang out in those places, but if its a pub or sports BAR not a sports BOOK (where u gamble on horse racing ect) you should be fine...the beauty of las vegas is that you can watch EVERYWHERE with an open container, so you can grab a drink and take it with you.

not directly AT the bar. and also all minors are to be out of all alcoholic beverage serving bars before 10:00 according to vegas ordinances.

alot of bars will let minors accompany their parents in the lounge area, but many will not let them actually sit at the bar. Some also make minors leave at a certain time at night.

NO! No minors underage of 21 can be in any alcohol serving areas or in the gambling areas of a casino.
Except when accompanied by a parent in the cafe/restaraunt.
Do not drop-off the kid to be alone at any time!

Probably not. If your kid was 19, they probably wouldn't question it if she ordered a soda or something, but I think they'd freak if she was 13...
