There comes a time, in anyone's life. That we need to take stock in who is important in our lives. And to be sure we understand the meaning of who we are to that person(s).

It's all good here. I hope it is for you as well. Your question is a good one. You know what they say, "Life isn't a dress rehearsal." BTW, I'm a fellow Southerner from sweet home, Alabama :)

It's back to full-time work for me. I've enjoyed sharing thoughts with you. Your posts are inspirational, thought provoking and even bring a smile. Take care.

Each day is new to me, (name). Full of things that have never been before. Opportunities for a whole range of new experiences: having children, watching them grow, seeing new places, making new friends, all of them coming from a different place, because I am not the person that I was yesterday.

Life is all there is, and to experience all of life I need to live.

This letter was in response to a question I had regarding lyrics from "Poems, Prayers and Promises": "It turns me on to think of growing old." I couldn't understand that line. So, I wrote to him, sent him a self addressed enveloped and mailed it to Aspen, Colorado. About six months later, I got this letter, hand written. It is a true treasure.
