Midnight Rider is yet another gem from the incomperable Allman Brothers Band.

That would be Gregg Allman of the Allman Brothers Band fame. The song was included on his solo album Laid Back, which was released in 1973.

The Allman Brothers were the original authors. Other bands have covered it.

Nothing wrong with 80s hair band ( Van halen, Pantera , Quite Riot, Snider and twisted sister, Skid Row, Ratt , Bon Jovi, Cindarella, Saxon, Dokken, Def Lepard.......) I don't like poison though for some reason or another.
