I’m a 15 year old male. I sleep in boxers now. I would like to sleep in the nude. I can’t lock my door. It can be opened from the outside. I don’t sleep with my door shut because my mother will think it is suspicious that I am sleeping with it shut. Should I ask my parents for permission or just do it? I would really like to sleep naked or just at least try!

i think that you should close your door...you deserve your privacy just as much as anyone else...what does your mom have to be *suspicious* of...unless you are sneaking people in, taking drugs, or doing something else illegal or dangerous...then what you do in the privacy of your own bedroom is your business, and no one elses...
having said that, i believe that you should ask your parents to put a lock on your door, (one that you can only lock from the inside, when you are there) as i said, you deserve your privacy...i always knock on my daughter's door before i come in, and she does this with me and my husband, as well....we all have locks on our doors, yet we dont use them, because everyone respects each other's privacy enough to knock first, (and wait for a *come in* reply) before entering...and as long as you dont use the lock as a means to do things that you know your parents would not approve of, then you should be allowed it...they can always take the lock off your door, if they need to.
then you can sleep naked everynight, if that is what you wish...

Many men sleep naked. But your mother should allow you some privacy about the closed door. You are at an age where boys usually awaken with an erection (caused by urine, not dirty thoughts) and the penis tends to find the opening in your boxers...use this as a reason for the closed door...if your father can't understand this...he must be very forgetful about his own teen-life. Approach him first and explain that you don't like your Mom to see you when you are hard.

I'm a 16 year old male. Last year I also do the same thing that you want to do.I have same problems also but I do that. After 2 days my mom without knock entered in my room. After that i didn't sleep naked but you are 15 yrs old you got some privacy

Get some balls and shut your door if you want to. Tell your parents you want privacy; if you want a lock on your door, spend 10 bucks at a hardware store or wally world and get a bedroom door knob with a lock on it. Your parents should understand you want privacy at times, assume you close the door to change clothes, don't you. When I was young and slept nude in a room with no door, I just slipped off my shorts at night, left them beside me undre the covers and then slipped them back on in the morning.

personally, i think it will be so freaking awkward if u ask your parents for permission to sleep naked. and yeah, you should talk to them about your privacy, and how this is your room and you have the right to close the door whenever u want. i guess you are older than 8. anyway, when everybody goes to sleep just take your boxers off and keep them under the covers in case someone comes, i dont think they will uncover u suddenly :)

Just sleep naked if you choose too.....and if there is nohing suspicious going on in your room with the door shut...well I guess who ever opens ith without knocking will get an eye full........knock before entering anyones room

juat do it. day after day your parents will be understand you. But better you repair your door n use a key, beside you can keep your secret, you can free to do all the things taht you want. If its no allow, you must tell them that you are teen n say "i'll never disappoint you".

you dont ask your parents for permission! close the door. so that way when they see it closed they know not to come in, unless they wanna see ya naked. just give it a try tonight... if nobody walks in it means they wont ever try to. wish you luck on your sleeping naked goals.

I think the first time they look in and see you sleeping naked, keeping your door shut wont be an issue.

just do it. since your door will be open, you should be sure to cover up with a sheet or blanket, then your parents will never know, keep your boxers under your pillow
