Richard Petty has the most wins in Nascar Racing, he has 200. He is considered "The King" of Nascar because of this, and it is a record in Nascar that will most likely never be broken due to the new restrictor plate rules and Nascar conintuously making more and more rules each season, sometimes throughout the course of the season, along with new and upcoming drivers each season who have a tremendous amount of talent, it makes it harder for the good Veteran drivers of Nascar to keep winning as often.

That all depends on which "era" you are talking about. If you are talking "all time" wins then without a doubt it's "King" Richard Petty with 200. If you are talking "Modern era" which started in 1972 to Present day then it's a tie between Darrell Waltrip and Bobby Allison with 84 wins. As for active drivers today it's Jeff Gordon with 77.
