I am not a scientist but a follower of the word of G-d, an Israeli which fears him, there is no problem with science when it comes to a nucleuos of an atom or the explanation of how the effects of carbon monixied is affecting our environment and so on and so forth, but when it comes to the human condition they swaye to persuade you that we indeed are descendents of an ape. Such doctrinal mombo jumbo can only make you belive you are an ape but not so. Man according to us [the children of the covenent] does have an origin and a source where we iminaited from, science will tell you they have the correct oppinion but are truly far from it. Like a savance they can calculate the biggest numbers corolaite a solution so vast that a mere unlearned individual would have a hard time explaining such a solution but if you tell them that the world was created 1 +1= 2 they would be lost because it sounds to simple of an equation for them, to them the world was created by a mathematition and we have no proof that he exists to them [so they say] but G-d is not proven G-d is,.... it will not lessen him if we cannot give to scientists the solution they want, because they want an inmensily complex solution so that we could somehow put him in a bottle for them and say here is G-d you see I was right and then what....... they will say he's not G-d because I see his beginning and his end. And I'll say yeap you're right.

The account of creation in the Bible and how science - as you call history - explains how life including humans came about, are not incompatible. You can still have a person who has regard to what science discovers and still be a very religious person who believes in God too. The heart of the question is whether a person believes that what science discovers has someone - we call God - that creates it and controls its progress. If this is the case both the Bible and Science are correct - they just explain it differently.

Just remember that Scripture is intended to show A) the existence of a single Deity, B) His responsibility for everything as its Creator, and C) the relationship He wants with His creation.
The Bible is NOT a science textbook!
Being God, He can create however He jolly well pleases. The evidence seems to show that He has a partiality for allowing His creation to pretty much do its own schtick within the framework of the Laws He set out (Laws of Physics). This allows for evolution with no problem. It also allows for Him to stick His fingers in the pie whenever He takes a notion and however He wants to do it.
When you're infinite you got plenty of room to play in.
When you're eternal you got all the time there is to let things do their thing.
When you're omnipotent, you can decide HOW each thing is gonna do its thing, strictly under your control or allowing as much freedom as you want.
When you're omniscient, you know the outcome, but there's no need to influence it (see omnipotence).
When you're omnibenevolent, love is the foundation of whatever you do.
Hope this helped.

If you ignore evolution, then science and the Bible do compliment each other. You can always throw a money wrench into the works using false data, such as evolution. Generally, proved fact will support the Bible.

When you study just a little you can answer:"no" but when you study carefully the answer is :'yes' because everything that happened is with His help, God helped some human beings write this wonderful book that we are able to read (if we want) and He did everything to help us all search Him, study all around us and see that HE IS THE CREATOR, He created us to live a wonderful life but because of sin(satan) things are a bit complicated for us.
Someone with a good heart that wants to understand will understand because HE will help when we ask for His help.
May God be with you and help you see His Works!
