I truly believe in eternal life. You either go to heaven or to hell, you make the choice.

I belive that when you die your mortal body will turn to dust. But the bible tells me that in the Resurrection that all who believe in christ will be risen and carried up to be with god eternally. You either go to heaven or hell. God is not evil for this. He gives US the choice. We choose by our own actions and beliefs where we will go when we die. If God made the choice then HE would be a dictator, not a God who loves us enough to send his only begotten son to die for our sins so we would not have to. All we have to do is believe and strive to do the best that we possibly can.

When you die, you just die and that's it (Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10). The hope we have is in a future resurrection after Armageddon (Acts 24:15). Then, the majority of mankind will live on a paradise earth (Psalms 37:29), although to be a part of that you need to learn about God and Jesus Christ (John 17:3).
Ecclesiastes 9:5, 10
For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten... All that your hand finds to do, do with your very power, for there is no work nor devising nor knowledge nor wisdom in She′ol, the place to which you are going.
Acts 24:15
and I have hope toward God, which hope these [men] themselves also entertain, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.
Psalms 37:29
The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
And they will reside forever upon it.
John 17:3
This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ.

The huge number of people weve all read about who saw their physical body on a deathbed, then saw tunnels and lights, caught glimpses of deceased members of their families, and then came back to life make me think that the stories are either mass self delusion, vivid imaginations, or they could well be real. We have no way of knowing if there is or isnt a higher plane of energy, a parallel reality that exists on a different wavelength to our human perceptions. Heaven could be right here on planet earth but existing invisibly to us because our senses are incapable of seeing it?

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

I don't think about it. If you spend to much time thinking about the past or future you lose your present, and I want to make the most of the time I have. I'll see what happens when I die when it's time.

I am Wiccan and my beleif stucture embrasses reincarnation. When we pass we will first experience our expectaions because our thoughts are so powerful. When this has been experienced we will have the chance to review what lessons we have learned, esperience healing, and choose the next incarnation for our personal growth. I believe that we don't and can't die. The energy that is us leaves a body that can no longer support physical life and returns to its source. We then review the lifetime we have just completed and decide what it is we want to do next. You already know this. You have just forgotten that's all.
