I have just taken the first white pill, like last night, when will my period start? When I was on ortho evra I would come off the patch and start on Wed/Thurs. When should I begin to worry?

My start day is Sunday, but there are 4 placebo pills. Has anyone ever missed their period when they were switching birth control

Mine usually starts on the day of the third white pill, so I would be prepared on the day of the second white pill, just in case.

The first white pill is normally the placebo. You should start within the next few days. With the pill, my period normally takes 2 or 3 days to start after I stop using the active tablets. I'm not sure what colors Yaz uses since that's not the birth control that I use, but my question is why did you just take your white tablet on a Wednesday or Thursday? You're actually supposed to take your first pill on a Sunday, which would mean the placebo pills would also start on a Sunday.

Because of the change from the patch to the pill there can be a delay for a short time so that the body can adjust to being on the new medication. Your period should come when you get ready to start the inactive pills in 4 weeks.
I would also recommend getting in touch with your dr and pharmacist to see what they say.

I take Yaz for PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder). The white pills are the placebo pills. Your period should begin during the time that you are taking the white pills, can even start period on the first day of the regular pills.
