Of the 5 arenas i've been to, my rankings: (1) GM Place- Vancouver (I really liked the building, it was really nice, felt small, very up-to-date, but I hated the scoreboard. Though the fans did not chant at all, which kinda freaked me out.) (2) MSG- New York (I'm a Rangers fan, I know it's a dirty building and some of the seats don't have a great view (NEVER SIT IN SECTION 401), but I love the history and atmosphere there. Plus it feels smaller than it is, the fans are so into it, etc etc.) (3) Prudential Center- Newark, NJ (it was nice and I liked the restaurant/ice bar/fire lounge, but it felt way too big, the scoreboard was way too low (adding to the huuuuuge feel), and there was no atmosphere.) (4) HSBC Arena- Buffalo (feels like a hospital rather than a hockey rink) (5) Nassau Colliseum- Long Island- (very small, very old and dirty and run down, mostly empty)
