Hey Caretaker, your link did not work, so it is difficult to answer. But do I love marine life? In general, yes, they're delicious.

I checked out your bio, I also spent 7 years in the US Navy, and I got a buddy currently teaching English in Singapore. As to your question of whether to return to the states or not, I say come back. Check out the Bay Area in California. Best place on the planet (I'm not so sure you'll find all that much intelligent life here though).

Thanks for the link update. It was shocking and sad. Dolphins are cute and its a shame to see them killed. I surf and I love to watch the dolphins (it means no sharks nearby). The dolphins kill the sharks. I'm guessing the video upset you, but just remember that the dolphins have to eat as well as we do, and they're carnivores. They are cute, but they kill to eat same as we do. I grew up on a farm and I love animals, but I still eat them. Japanese fishermen grow up on the sea, and they gotta eat as well. We're just one step up on the food chain, and sharks are one step up above us (in surfer lingo, we refer to our local white sharks as "the landlord")

Caretaker, sorry about your hurt feelings, it's just mother nature. We're all gonna die sooner or later.
