If you want absolute proof that there is no god, watch the evidence presented by the moron Cameron on nightline last night. That should convince all Christians that there religion is a joke.

I'm a strong agnostic [meaning my thoughts on god are that he is completely indeterminate, I don't know if he exists or not, and neither do you] with atheist tendancies.
The trouble with God is that seeing as he is unprovable, the argument will never be truly settled. However people can interpret things around them differently. Where a Christians sees a good Samaritan working for God, an Atheist sees a friendly person acting kindly out of his own heart. Where a Christian sees nature as the product of a divine creator, an Atheist sees natural processes at work.
"god is not real then life would not be worth living"
This is the one thing I hate most about theists. You believe in God, however you cannot be certain he exists; he has never spoken to you or affected your life in some way. If this was true, you would not be doubting him. Therefore to all intents and purposes, it is like he does not exist. However you still live your life and you feel it has meaning, not because you know God exists but because you hope he does. In reality, it makes little difference to your life on earth if he exists or not. It is the afterlife which makes God worth believing in.
Your life is precious no matter how it came into existence, the smell of fresh air and the taste of fruit is still powerful, joyful, it doesn't matter if its the action of a hundred chemicals in your brain or the laughter of a God created soul. When you help another person, you feel warm inside because you know its the right thing to do. God doesn't come and pat you on the back after every good deed you do, if he exists you will be rewarded later but for now, your actions determine how others think of you and how you think of yourself; God or not, morality still exists.
Anyone who thinks that their reason for living or the source of their morality is their religion needs to think long and hard.

Okay, and how do you know that there is a "God", not "Gods"? All ancient religions were polytheistic. Why life would not be worth living? Because there would be freedom and responsibility for one's own actions? And people would not blame the "devil" for all the wrongs in their life?
Edited: Life sucks?Perhaps you have not experienced it to the fullest.BTW, im not an atheist.

There are gods since human have no explanation to nature... everything unexplained is because a god, when we find the answers gods falls. do you believe in god of fire? God Jupiter? God of war? how to go to ancient Roma and denies there were gods??? same happens nowadays cause we have fear to unexplained life and death... Life explanation is almost cleared... death? the next years can be interesting.
(very sorry about the poor grammar)
There are gods when there are lack of knowledge.... science is not an enemy cause is based on nature facts, not faith.

I don't believe in God for the same reason that YOU don't believe in Zeus, Loki, Odin, Krishna, Isis, Eostre, or the THOUSANDS of other gods and goddesses that humans have worshipped throughout history. I simply believe in ONE FEWER god than you do.
I would NEVER worship the Biblical God even if he was proven to exist, because I consider things like drowning, sickening, and slaughtering millions, repeatedly COMMANDING his followers to hurt and kill others, and conspiring to have his own kid beaten and killed to be IMMORAL and EVIL, and therefore completely unworthy of admiration, worship, or praise. I'd have to kill myself if I thought it was ok to condone any of that. Obviously, millions of Christians think all those things are just fine, and they are free to steep themselves and their children in it.
You don't have to consider that god is not real if you don't want to. Not everyone is secure enough to be an atheist. Most of us couldn't care less what you choose to believe, as long as you mind your own spiritual business and don't try to push your religion on anybody else.

I know because most of the poor people in the world have been praying to him to make their lives better for centuries.
I know because I can see it when I try to hold a preacher's gaze and he looks away quickly when he recognises that I'm not being taken in by a word he is saying.
I know because when I debate with a Christian, they get lost in their explanations and beat a hasty retreat.

Lol...There will never be proof or disproof of God, scientifically of course as long as we're still living. Therefore, it would seem that one would choose the better of 2 options and believe in God, in the hope that after death there is more than eternal nothingness.

I'll answer your question with a question.
How do YOU know there is a god? What makes you the authority?
Also, I believe life is worth living, and I do not believe in god.

If you are feeling like that you are needing to see a doctor.
There are loads of gods and goddesses, take your pick.
You would be spoilt for choice and it will keep your mind off suicidal tendancies.......
