Tax credits can you help?

i stopped working in january our tax credits went down to £37 which after checking i should have been getting £97 per week i left it and a few weeks later i got a letter off tax credits saying in april my payments would go up to £97 per week my question is why did i only get £37 per week until april and i have just completed my annual review will i be owed any money i cannot work it out

No idea without seeing details of all your earnings etc. (DON'T POST DETAILS HERE)

I suggest you phone them up and ask them to explain = if you don't agree with their explanation, tell them you want to "appeal".

NB. Tax year ends 5th April ... maybe that had something to do with it ???
