And yes, I was aware that many Arabic-speaking Muslims memorize the Qur'an. I met a 14 year old boy in Touba, Senegal, who had memorized the Qur'an - pretty cool.

Regardless, it says nothing of how those people live their lives, nor does it really do any good to the billions of Muslims who can't read the Qur'an in Arabic and therefore have no idea what it really says.

Quran learn by heart and mind too
and a lot of muslims memories all of Quran from tha first page to last

specially in the arabic countries

It is not just by memorizing the entire book is important thing to do... What is important is do you live the message, the lessons and the true teaching of it... You be like parots, robots or computers memorised the words but can not understand the meaning of it....
